Olin Edson

Olin Edson, 64, of Independence, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at his home. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2003 at the Stone Church, 1012 Lexington, Independence, MO. Visitation with the family is from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the church. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Merilee Edson; his three children, Dawn Wise, Michael Edson, and Dana Hall; seven grandchildren, Ryan Scott, Grant Wise, Brooke Wise, Brittany Hall, Eric Edson, Jeffrey Edson and Andrea Edson; and two brothers, Sidney Edson and Gerald Edson. Olin was a member and former pastor of the Eden Heights RLDS Congregation. He loved baseball and managed several generations of competitive little league ball teams. He was president and owner of Midwest Pre Press Services, Inc., a graphic arts company he began in 1987. Olin was a much beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, and is remembered for his many kindnesses. He was loved by all who met him.
