Natalie Rhea (Moore) Edwards
Natalie Edwards, of Grain Valley, Mo passed away and was greeted by her creator with welcoming arms on Tuesday, September 14,2021 while surrounded by loving family.
Natalie was born July 18,1963 in Kansas City, MO, the first born child of Ray Moore and Sharon Williams. Natalie graduated college from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO with her degree in early childhood special education. Natalie obtained 2 Masters degrees, once in education and the other in educational administration. Shortly after, she married her loving husband Chuck of 35 years. Her hobbies included cross stitching, reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family. She also had quite an extensive Santa Claus collection and her home looked “Christmas ready” at all times.
She leaves behind her husband Chuck, mother and stepfather, Sharon and Sherman Williams of Independence, brother and sister- in- law, Mark and Joyce Moore of Blue Springs, sister Stephanie Moore of Blue Springs, two nephews Drew and Sam Moore of Blue Springs and Washington DC and two nieces Madison and Paityn Richardson both of Blue Springs as well as many loving family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her Father Ray Moore, both maternal and paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Morton Moore and Alden and Helen Madison, her mother- in -law Virginia Brockett, father- in- law Ron Edwards, her Uncle Larry Moore and Aunt Juanita Johnson.
Visitation will be Tuesday September 21,2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with funeral
services the following day Wednesday, September 22,2021 at 10:00am. All Services will be held at
Speaks Chapel in Independence, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home as these were two charities that were very dear to Natalie and she supported herself.
