Ermalee Egli, 83 of Independence, passed away on Tues., Jun 10, 2003 at the North Kansas City Hospital. Services will be 1:00 pm, Fri, Jun 13, 2003 at the First Christian Church of Independence. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 - 8:30 pm, Thursday at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Contributions are suggested to the First Christian Church, 125 S. Pleasant, Independence, MO 64050. Mrs. Egli was born on June 12, 1919 to Francis and Alice Archer in North Kansas City, MO and had been a life long area resident. Mrs. Egli had been Inspector with Remington Arms at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant from 1957 until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Mrs. Egli was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Dean Egli in 1985. She is survived by a son Jack Lee Egli and his wife Tonia of Independence. MO. Three grandchildren, Natasha Clardy and husband Jeremy, Stephanie Mullins and Jason Egli, all of Independence, MO. One sister Pearl McCallum of North Kansas City, MO.
