Brian E. Eklund

Brian E. Eklund, 49, Independence, MO, passed away Dec. 2, 2005 at his home. Services will be 11:30 am, Wed., Dec. 7, 2005 at Lee�s Summit Community Church; cremation with interment at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 10-11:30 am, Wed. at the church. Brian was born Sept. 24, 1956 in Kansas City, MO and had lived in the area all of his life. He enjoyed flying, motorcycles, and was a filmmaker. He was a computer technician at AT&T, where he worked for eleven years. He most recently worked for the I.R.S. He earned a Psychology degree from CMSU. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Robert Eklund and Treva Jo Eklund. He is survived by brothers K. Michael Eklund and wife Linda, Lee�s Summit, MO; Bruce Wayne Eklund, Independence, MO; Gregory Alan Eklund, Smithville, MO; niece Jami Nicole Eklund; nephews Shawn Michael Eklund, Jeffrey Michael Eklund, Joshua Samuel Eklund, Kyle Louis Eklund; and grandniece Alexus Nicole Rogers.
