Marylynn Elliott, 91 of Independence, passed away, Mon. Jan. 30, 2006 at the Rosewood Health Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Sat. Feb. 4, 2006 in The Community Room Chapel at the Groves, 1515 W. White Oak, Independence, MO. Visitation will be 9 - 10:00 am, prior to the service. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the library of the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ, 700 W. Lexington, Indep. MO 64050. Mrs. Elliott was born Dec. 26, 1914, in Kansas City, MO to Theo and Cora Brace Gerber. She grew up next to the youngest in a family of eight children in the Mount Washington congregation of the Reorganized church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. On Sep. 29, 1934, she married David Crockett Elliott in Fresno, CA. He preceded her in death in 1995. For many years they made their home in Modesto, CA, where Mr. Elliott was pastor of the local RLDS congregation and owner of Farmers� Butane Service. Marylynn enjoyed being a homemaker and sharing in her husband�s ministry. Together they raised six children. Marylynn is survived by her children, Virginia Lee Pledger and Joyce Elaine Blair and husband David of Louisville, KY; Patricia Heady Winholtz and husband Wilford of Independence; David LeRoy Elliott and wife Sandra and Peggy Suzanne Chapman of Modesto, CA; William Maurice Elliott and wife Loni of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren. A brother, Raymond Gerber of Lee�s Summit and a sister, Helen Kelly of Independence.
