Janice Lynn England, 59 of Independence, MO passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at Centerpoint Medical Center. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening, August 4, 2016 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 with cremation to follow. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Northland Abundant Life Worship Center, 7700 N. Church Rd., Kansas City, MO 64158. Janice, or “Nannie” to her family, was born April 11, 1957 in Tulsa, OK and moved to the Kansas City area at an early age, attending Fairmont Grade School and Northeast High School. In 1974 she married Stephen Cain and were married 16 years. During those 16 years 3 sons were born Jonathan, Joshua and Nathan. She later married Allen England in 1998. Janice was a beloved wife, mother and homemaker who enjoyed gardening, crafts and, most of all spending time with family. She was an animal lover and member of the ASPCA. Survivors include; her husband, Allen England of the home; 3 sons, Jonathan and his wife Laquisha, Joshua and Nathan; 5 step children, Michael, Michelle, Christine, Mario and Mona; her siblings, Jack, Jerry, Gary, Sheila, Tony, Corky and Teresa and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Opal, father, Guy and sisters, Joyce and Janet. Nannie was a very loving and giving person who always was a joy to be around and always there to give solid advice and love. She will be sorely missed.
