Helen Englert

Helen J. (Novak) Kriz Englert, 84, Independence, MO, formerly of Sabetha, KS, passed away Sept. 18, 2007. Services will be 10 am, Friday, Sept. 21, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Independence Division of Kansas City Hospice.
Helen was born Aug. 21, 1923 in Kansas City, KS. She and her husband owned White’s Family Center in Sabetha, KS for over 35 years. She retired in 1986 and had just moved to Independence two weeks ago. She was a member of the parish at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sabetha.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by sons Joseph Kriz and wife Judy; David Kriz and wife Mary; grandchildren Greg Anthony Kriz and wife Jennifer, all of Independence, MO; Amy Hunholz, Stanberry, MO; David Kriz, Jr., Independence, MO; great-grandchildren Jasmine Brown, Raven Kriz, Spencer Kriz, Christian Reynolds, Savannah Walters and Parker Walters.
