Nicholas “Nick” A. English, 15, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Oct. 22, 2013. Memorial services will be at 10 am, Sat., Oct. 26 at the Church of Jesus Christ Oak Grove Restoration Branch, 1203 N. Broadway, Oak Grove, MO 64075-9218; cremation. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Friday at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO 64055. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Center Place Restoration School, 819 W. Waldo Ave., Independence, MO 64050.
Nick was born July 8, 1998 in Blue Springs, MO. He was a freshman at Center Place Restoration School where he played on the basketball team, ran on the track team, sang in the school choir, worked on the stage crew for school plays and had served on the Student Council. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop #216 and a member of the church. He was a loving son and brother who was a friend to all. Nick was preceded in death by his grandfather Ronald “Papa” Lidberg. He is survived by his parents Eric and Sarah English; sisters Abigail and Olivia English, all of the home; grandparents Sheila Lidberg, Lone Jack, MO; Paul and Donna English, Independence, MO; aunts and uncles Mike and Valerie Lidberg, Oak Grove, MO; Jeremy and Cari Lidberg, Lone Jack, MO; Jeff and Emily English, Kansas City, MO and six cousins.
