Eric Gibson Davis

Eric would have been 64 on October 25, but after 12 years Multiple Myeloma (cancer) took him from us on October 11, 2023. Just like our parents, Eric donated his body to the University of Kansas Willed Body Program. 

Eric grew up in Independence, Missouri, graduating from William Chrisman High School in 1977. In 2000 he married Christina Townsend. They have a son, Gabe, and a daughter, Aijalon. 

Over the years he had many businesses. He was a roofer, industrial painter and powder coater, consultant, paint line and paint booth builder, and sandblaster. He was a workaholic! When not working he liked to fish, tinker with drag bikes, ride bicycles on the Katy Trail, and most recently take his Humvee and Jeep off-roading in places like Moab, Colorado, Tulsa, and Ray Rocks. 

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Betty Davis. He leaves behind his children Gabe Davis and Aijalon Davis, sister Cindy Davis (Jim Stroud), brother Kirk Davis (Barbye), and their children Moriah, Isabelle, and Jonathan, and many friends.
