Diana Gail Evans

Diana Gail (Allen) Evans, 52, Independence, Mo. passed away, Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, after a strong and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones as the Lord called her home. Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 7 - 9 pm, Monday, Feb. 2 at the funeral home. Diana was born on March 5, 1951, in Kansas City, Mo. to Monte and Anita Allen. She was a 1969 graduate of Northeast High School. God granted Diana a strong, loving heart with great faith and exuberant determination to lead a life filled with family and friends, young and old, which she always shared care and concern. She knew and sang the words of most any melody with her beautiful voice. She taught all of those who knew her the true meaning of love, patience and understanding. Diana leaves her husband of six years, Jim Evans, of the home; her parents, Monte and Anita Allen, Lee�s Summit; her sisters, Monica Kurelac, Blue Springs; Jill Calvert and her husband, Warren, Blue Springs; and five loving nieces and nephews, Karren, Justin, and Matt Calvert and Lauren and Ashley Kurelac.
