Jon Paul Evans, 57, of Independence, MO, passed away on Wednesday April 19, 2023, at his home. Cremation is planned with a memorial visitation to be held from 2-4pm on Saturday April 29, 2023 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39th St Independence, MO 64055.
Jon was born on June 18, 1965 in Independence, MO, to George and Doris (Thompson) Evans.
Jon was a lifelong Independence resident having attended Truman High School and later attended DeVry University. He had worked as an electrician and was a member of the IBEW local 53 in Kansas City for a number of years. He was a big fan of playing video games and loved attending concerts.
Jon is survived by two sisters Evelyn (Thomas) Smith and Vickie Evans, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Doris Evans and his brother Jim Evans.
