Lola Evans

Lola Evans, 90, of Kansas City, MO passed away June 6, 2014. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, with burial to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. Lola attended Blue Ridge Assembly of God. She was a seamstress most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Evans; daughter, Ruthanne Evans; two infant children; parents, Fred Albertus and Florence (Reynolds) Hubbard; and six siblings, Charles Hubbard, Helen Maxon, Alberta Yates, Beulah Call, James Hubbard and Florence Terry. Lola is survived by her five loving children, Loleta M. Ginnings, Fred Evans and wife Randylee, Leota Davolt, Dennis Evans and wife Theresa, Sarah Jane Ray and husband John; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.
