Thomas Jefferson Fagan, 71, Kansas City, MO passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 at his home.
Thomas was born September 16, 1941 near Mansfield, MO the son of Ralph and Ruth (Fletcher) Fagan. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran and was stationed in Germany and Korea where he met and married his wife of 34 years. Thomas retired in 2000 as Kansas City superintendent of motor equipment. He volunteered from 1993 to 2009 with Rodeo Kids. Thomas enjoyed working with his horses and tractors.
Survivors include his loving wife, Kap; sons, Richard Fagan, Edward Fagan and his wife Ashley, and Robert Fagan; daughter, Kim Foster and husband Jonathan; grandchildren, Jayden Hogan, McKale Fagan, Quinn Fagan, Zachary Foster and Lorraina Foster; brothers, Jack, Jerry, Ronald, Donald, Charlie, Carl, and Richard Fagan and numerous nieces, nephews and family. Thomas was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe, George, Fred, Jim and Arlie Fagan and his parents.
Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64052. A celebration of Thomas’s life will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
