Mary E. Fainter

Mary E. Fainter, 94, of Kansas City, M, passed away, Sunday, February 29, 2004 at Little Sisters of the Poor care home. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at Little Sisters of the Poor. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery. Donation may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 8745 James A. Reed Rd. Kansas City, MO 64132. Mary was born April 17, 1909 in Atchison, KS to Sterling Price and Lillie (Starr) Berry. She worked as a self-employed waitress and housekeeper until she retired. Survivors include; 2 daughters, Jeanne Fletcher of Kansas City, MO and Dorothy Crumby of Kansas City, KS; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Alice Marie Kantola.
