Vickie Falke-Bolanos

Vickie Falke-Bolanos, 60, of Independence, MO passed away April 7, 2016. Visitation from 6-8 pm Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral service will be 10am Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the chapel. Burial will take place in Lobb Cemetery. Vickie was born on April 16, 1955 in Kansas City, MO to Homer and Dorothy (Friben) Jeffress. She worked as a CPN for many years in the Independence area. Vickie loved to cook. Baking homemade bread and deep fried tacos were always family favorites! She also loved to sit with a good book and relax, or work in her garden. Vickie was always ready to go fishing, with a picnic basket in hand. More than anything, Vickie loved spending time with her family. Survivors include; loving husband of 23 years, Gilbert “Gil” Bolanos; daughter Toni Briggs; son Toby Falke; sisters Pat Brown and Sharon Davis; one step-brother; 4 step-sisters; 3 grandchildren; and a large extended family. Vickie is preceded in death by her parents and an older brother.
