Linda Kay (Lewis)
Fanara, 75, of Independence, MO passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, October 24 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055; cremation. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Great Plains SPCA, 21001 East 78 Highway, Independence, MO 64057.
Linda was born October 15, 1943 in Independence, MO. She was the daughter of the late Woodrow W. Lewis and Anna Grace Lewis.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Anthony Louis Fanara Sr.; two daughters, Teresa Davis and husband Dennis, Overland Park, KS; Angela Fanara of Independence, MO; sons Anthony Fanara and wife Jackie, Lee’s Summit, MO; Louis Fanara and wife Lynn, Independence, MO; Joseph Fanara, Blue Springs, MO; eight grandchildren: Rachael, Blyss, Shelby, Hunter, Holden, Alexandria, Lydia and George and seven great-grandchildren: Cole, Cohen, Crosby, Skylar, Stormie, Callahan, McKinley; brother-in-law Sal Fanara, Lee's Summit, MO; one niece and three nephews. She enjoyed her flower gardens. She will be dearly missed by her precious dogs Baby, Lucy and grand-dogs.
