Frank Fann, 75, of Independence, MO passed away September 27, 2012 at the Kansas City Hospice House. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. A service will be held from 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1, at the Suburban Chapel, with burial to follow at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Frank was born February 12, 1937 in Martin City, MO to Frank and Orvetta Fann. In 1999, he retired as a supervisor from LaFarge, where he had worked for 44 years. He then traveled to the Philippines and established missions there, which became his life’s work and labor of love. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn (Nast) Fann; three children, Bill Fann, Bob Fann and Becky Rudd and husband David; one sister, Jeanne Cantrell and husband Jerry; five grandchildren, Jenny, Courtney, Cody, Lindsey, Trevor; and three great grandchildren, Addison, Colin and Averie.
