Laquitta Farley, 87, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Monday, November 20 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO 64055. Graveside service will be 2pm on Tuesday, November 21st at Olive Branch Cemetery in White Cloud, KS.
Laquitta was born on June 8, 1930 on the Iowa Reservation to Vern and Bessie (Banks) Fee. She was a dedicated homemaker the majority of her life. She served as the Community Health Representative for the Iowa Tribe while she resided in White Cloud, KS for approximately 10 years. Her main hobby was crossword puzzles but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Laquitta is survived by her daughter Debra Waggoner of Independene, MO; grandsons Todd Waggoner and Chris Swearingen; 6 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband, 2 children and 1 grandchild.
