Marica Farnham, 49, of Independence, MO, passed away Friday, November 2, 2012, at NorthCare Hospice House, Kansas City, MO, surrounded by people she loved. Services in her honor will begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Indep., MO 64055. There will first be a time of gathering, followed by the Rosary at 2:30 p.m. A service of blessing will take place in the chapel at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens, Indep., MO. A memorial service to further honor Marica will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ South Crysler Restoration Branch, 16101 E. Salisbury Rd., Indep., MO. Donations in Marica's name will be committed to a trust for her two children. Envelopes will be placed out at services for donation. For further information refer to www.speakschapel.com. Marica was born Nov. 25, 1962, in Luna, La Union, Philippines, to Nicanor and Lydia (Cresencio) Masadao, Sr. Her parents preceded her in death, as well as her sister, Norma Ordono; and brothers, Nicanor Masadao, Jr., and Reynaldo Masadao. Marica is survived by her two wonderful children, Marky and Markaila Farnham; six siblings: Cielo Masadao-Gowers, Maria Violeta Mila Rono, Susan Riget, Rayburn Masadao, Teodato Masadao, and Sabina Elvie Masadao; brother-in-laws Tom Ordono, Jose Rono; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
