Gladys Ruth Farnsworth

Gladys Ruth Farnsworth, 74, of Independence, MO, passed away, Friday, November 28, 2003 in Centerview, MO from injuries received in a car accident. Services 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2003 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Friday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO 64055. A memorial fund with American Diabetes Association has been established for those who prefer to make a donation. Gladys was born September 14, 1929 in Independence, MO to William L. and Margie (Hubb) Dutton. She was a member of the RLDS Church. She was married to Fern H. Farnsworth, on January 12, 1947. They were married for 56 years. She is survived by her husband; 4 daughters, Marjorie Kruel, Debbie Farnsworth, Beverly Nipper and Pamela Suddarth all of Independence; 2 sons, Samuel Farnsworth of Raytown, MO and Jerry Farnsworth of Blue Springs, MO; a brother, Gene Dutton of Independence, MO; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
