Kylan Farris

Kylan Paul Farris, 21, of Lee’s Summit was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 14, 2013. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit, 2 NE Douglas, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the church. Burial in Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery. Kylan was born August 5, 1992 in Sedalia, MO to Christian and Sherry (Holman) Farris. He graduated from Lee’s Summit North High School in 2011. Kylan had a contagious smile that lit up the room. He worked for the City of Lee’s Summit Water Department where he enjoyed his work and loved the many friendships with his co-workers. Most of all, Kylan was a proud father to his son, Cohen! Kylan is survived by his son Cohen; mother Sherry McGrath (Tom), father Christian Farris, maternal grandparents Nina & Will Tobaben, Nolan & Gail Holman; paternal grandmother Barbara Farris; step brother TJ; step sisters Caitlin & Sarah; and by a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
