Arletta Fawver, 39, passed away September 27, 2012. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday October 4th 2012, at Central Assembly of God; 1009 W. 23rd Street Independence, MO. Visitation will be 6:00-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 3rd 2012 at Carson- Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave Independence, MO. Cremation to follow.
Arletta was born December 8,1972 to Thomas and Edith (Hanks) Stivers, in Kansas City, MO. She was many things to many people including a sister to five siblings. She was a loving wife, and a mother of six children. Her legacy lives on through two grandchildren. Arletta was described by her family as smart, and funny. She was hopeful and courageous for the hopeless and forgotten. Arletta is a strong spirit who's testimony will be the difference in many people's lives. Her family encourages those who have learned from her to take her wisdom and carry them forever.
Arletta is survived by her husband Tom Fawver; her children, Kage, Cory, and Sky Phenix of Independence; father, Thomas Stivers of Kansas City, MO; sisters, Wendy Chiesi and husband Jason of Independence, MO; Eleanor Phillips and husband Larry of Blue Springs, MO; and Kimberly Taylor and husband Larry of Independence, MO; brothers, Michael Stivers and wife Lacey of Independence, MO; and Bobby Stivers and wife Kelly of Independence, MO.
