Arthur Edison Fazenbaker Jr.

Arthur Edison Fazenbaker, Jr., 50, of Independence, passed away July 6, 2018 at his residence. A funeral gathering will be held Thursday, July 12th at 7:00 p.m., at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052 with cremation to follow. Arthur was born December 8, 1967 in Baltimore, MD to Arthur E. Fazenbaker, Sr., and Brenda (Shell). He graduated from Van Horn High School in 1986 and worked for over 20 years as an accountant for the Hostess Company. He enjoyed being outdoors, swimming, growing plants and was a great cook. Survivors include; a daughter, Jade M. Fazenbaker; a son, Tyler E. Fazenbaker; his mother, Brenda Shell; 4 sisters, Melissa Bates, Yolonda Ligon (Jodie), Camilla Fazenbaker and Brenda Ohrem; a special friend Jon Paul Plummer; his ex-wife and mother of his children, Stacy Parker and many nieces and nephews.
