John Ferguson

John Ferguson, of Independence, MO passed away August 29, 2018 on the family farm. John was born on September 24, 1924 on the family farm and spent his entire life farming the same land as his grandfather and father. Visitation will be 9:30 – 11 am Saturday, September 1, 2018 at First Christian Church 125 S Pleasant St. Independence, MO 64050. Funeral services will follow at 11 am. John will be laid to rest next to his loving wife of 70 years, June, in Salem Cemetery. Survivors include: son Steve Ferguson and his wife Julie; sister Lorene Ferguson; granddaughter Dawn Ferguson; grandson Scott Ferguson; extended family and friends. John is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary (Ryan) Ferguson, and his wife June (Dean) Ferguson.
