Pamela M. Ferguson, 62, Kansas City, MO passed away Dec. 10, 2014. Services will be 10 am, Monday, Dec.15 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052; interment at Mt Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 Sunday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64145. Pam was born March 20, 1952 in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Northeast High School before graduating from the Kansas City, MO Police Academy. She served in the KCPD for over thirty-four years, most of those in the Traffic Enforcement Unit before retiring in 2013. She enjoyed reading, bowling, and traveling. She had traveled most of the USA and loved visiting the oddities on Route 66. She was a member of the Winwood Baptist Church and was a volunteer for Special Olympics. Pam was preceded in death by her parents Jimmie & Leila Ferguson, sister Pat Harrison and brothers James Arthur Ferguson, Allen Ferguson and Jimmie Ferguson. She is survived by sisters Voneita Ferguson, Carthage, MO; Karon Smith and husband Michael, Platte City, MO; Brenda Locascio and husband Russ, Kearney, MO; brother Robert Ferguson and wife Patty, Kansas City, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.
