Floyd David Fetters, 63, of Kansas City was called home Thu. Feb. 9, 2006. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm Tue. Feb. 14. Services will be 10:00 am, Wed. Feb 15, 2006 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Indep. MO. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association. David was born on Oct. 29, 1942 to Claude and Katherine Fetters in Kansas City, MO. He had been a forklift operator for Stone Container, retiring in 1999. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He coached little league baseball several years. After his coaching career, he was dedicated to supporting his grandchildren�s activities. He enjoyed sitting on a lake just waiting for the fish to bite. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Deepwater, MO. David is survived by his wife of 41 years, Elaine Fetters, a son, Jimmy Fetters and wife Karrie, all of Kansas City, MO. A daughter, Donna Wiley and husband Russ of Independence, MO., four grandchildren, Russell Todd, Jeremy, Trista, and Zachary. One great granddaughter, Dejah Renee. He was preceded in death by one sister, and is survived by five brothers and five sisters.
