Milton Fick

Milton J. “Bud” Fick, 81, of Independence, MO passed away on Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be held at 8:00 a.m., Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Independence, MO. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. A graveside service and burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Lake City, MN. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 17200 E 39th St S.
Independence, MO 64055. Mr. Fick was born on April 20, 1926 in Lake City, MN the son of Harry and Marguarite Fick. He moved to Minneapolis in 1937. He graduated from University of Minnesota spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy from 1944 until 1964. He then joined the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, retiring in 1982. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Independence. Mr. Fick is survived by his wife, Doris, his daughter, Barbara Ann Fick Klocke and her husband, David L.
