Tanya K. Finger (Bolingbroke)

Tanya Finger, 49, of Independence, MO passed away March 26, 2017. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. memorial service on Saturday, April 1, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Tanya was born February 11, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Gerald and Patricia (Klamm) Bolingbroke. She was preceded in death by her father. Tanya is survived by her two daughters, Olivia McClellan and husband Jacob and Sylvia Finger; mother, Pat Bolingbroke; and sister, Michelle Ballantyne. Tanya was raised in Lamoni, Iowa where she also attended Graceland University earning a degree in Business and Education. Later, she would go on to earn her Masters degree in Mathematics Education. Her tender and caring nature made her a great role model not only for her daughters, but also for the students she taught.
