Anna Katherine "Katie� (Eissler) Fisher, 87, of Independence, MO passed away on July 8, 2005 at the John Knox Village Care Center. A visitation will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. on Friday, July 15, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday in the chapel, with burial at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Katie was born on April 20, 1918 in Holden, MO to Jacob and Barbara (Kuttler) Eissler. She worked as a seamstress for both Nellie Don Garmet Factory and retired from Hal Harden Garmet Factory. She attended the First Assembly of God Church in Independence, MO. The most important things in Katie�s life were her church, family, especially her granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Adam Fisher; brother, Otto Eissler; two sisters, Lena Truninger and Katherine Eissler. Katie is survived by two sons, Delbert Fisher, Independence, MO and Leroy and wife Kathy Fisher, Holden, MO; brother, Jacob Eissler, Holden, MO; three granddaughters, Sherry Fisher, Terry Catron and Mary Beth Fisher; and many other loving relatives and friends.
