Josh Fisher

Josh Fisher, 36, of Blue Springs, MO went to Heaven on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. A Celebration of his life will be held from 2-4pm on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence, MO, 64052.

Josh was born on November 24, 1981 in Lamar, MO. He worked in construction and had a dream to build houses for his mother and all of his siblings. He enjoyed drawing, hunting, fishing, and camping. Most of all he loved his children and being with his family. Josh had many amazing qualities including being loyal, generous, kind, and humorous. He always tried to lift those around him and help people live their lives to the fullest.

His survivors include his mother Teri Masoner and husband Ron of Blue Springs, MO; children Chase and his mom Cody, Thomas and Kerstin and their mom Amy, Mariah and her mom Julie, Lily and Reily and their mom Elizabeth; siblings Javan Fisher and wife Jamie, Jesse Fisher and wife Stephanie, Jimmy Anders and wife Emily, Janessa Anders, Jonah Tonasket and wife Kayla, Jaime Tonasket, Daniel Masoner, Rhonda Doak and husband Zach, and Alyssa Masoner; grandmother Mae Fisher; girlfriend Catherine Johnston and her children Aiden, Alexis, Corina, Colton; uncle James Fisher and wife Cheryl; aunt Tammy Heldenbrand and husband Brian; one great aunt; two great uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; plus many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Robert D. Fisher, great-grandparents Clarence Jones and Opal Owens, great-uncle Lile Jones, and great-aunt Connie Daniels.
