Scott Fisher

Scott Michael Fisher, 37 of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at his residence. Services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Ascension Lutheran Church 4900 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., until service time Saturday at the church. Donations may be made in his name to the Ascension Lutheran Church. Scott was born March 3, 1975 in Kansas City, MO to Jeff and Joan (Duensing) Fisher and has been a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Raytown High School in 1993 and from UMKC in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He was an avid KC Royals fan and enjoyed all kinds of sports, traveling, hiking and most of all spending time with family especially his nephews. He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. He is survived by; his parents, Jeff and Joan Fisher of Independence, MO; a brother, Greg Fisher and his wife, Janet and their children, Tommy, Jacob and Austin of Savoy, IL; his sister, Jennifer Best her husband, Dean and son, Fisher of Kansas City, MO; his paternal grandmother, Helen Fisher of Raytown, MO; 3 uncles, 1 aunt and many cousins and other friends.
