Bessie June Fisk, 99, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021.
Bessie was born on March 1, 1922, in Standish, Michigan, the daughter of Edward and May (Doyle) Schwerins.
She married Weldon Fisk and to this union a daughter Pat was born.
Bessie was a home maker and a wonderful wife and mother. She was a member of the RLDS South Crysler Restoration Branch. She was a wonderful cook and would often be found doing so for the church camps and reunions or in her kitchen canning. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends and spending time with her family. She had incredible faith and will dearly be missed.
Bessie is survived by her daughter Pat Allen; granddaughter Chris Allen and sister Joan Clow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and May Schwerins, husband, Weldon Fisk, and her other 5 siblings.
A service will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 at 3:00 p.m., with inurnment to take place at a later date at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens in Independence, Missouri.
