Esta Helen Fitch, 91, Independence, MO, died March 21, 2008. Services will be 10 am, Wed., March 26, 2008 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; interment at Floral Hills Cemetery. Visitation will begin before the service at 9:30 am.
Esta was born Jan. 4, 1917 in Lee’s Summit, MO. Her family moved to Kansas City in 1922. She worked at Chase Bag Company. She was a longtime member of the Mt. Washington United Methodist Church and a member of the Rosebud Rebecca Lodge #357.
Esta was preceded in death by husbands James A. Mantonya, whom she married in June, 1946, and who died in July, 1968; and Clarence Fitch, whom she married in Nov., 1971, and who died in Nov., 1990; brothers Andrew Ganzer and Roy Ganzer.
