Paul E. Fizer
Paul E. Fizer, 75 of Independence, MO passed away, Sun. June 1, 2003 at his home. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wed., June 4, 2003 at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 p.m Tuesday. In Lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Odyssey Health Care, 9229 Ward Parkway, Ste. 350, KCMO 64114. Mr. Fizer was born on July 20, 1927 to Oscar and Rena Fizer in Kansas City, MO and has lived most of his life in this area. He had been a Field Service Manager for the Kenworth Truck Plant for many years. He was a career Navy Veteran serving during WWII, the Korean Conflict and the Cuban Missile Crises, retiring in 1963. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 10. Mr. Fizer is survived by his wife, Mildred Fizer. A son and his wife, John and Courtney Fizer. A daughter and her husband, Linda and Gerald King. A granddaughter, Rachel King, two brothers, David Fizer and Jerry Fizer and a sister, Dorothy Louvier, all of Independence, MO.
