Manuel Alfonso De Jesus Flores Sr.

Manuel A. Flores, Sr. 63, of Independence passed away January 6, 2014. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 16, 2014at Graceway Church 5460 Blue Ridge Cutoff in Kansas City. Manuel was a great father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was truly the patriarch of the family. Even when his health started to decline, he was always positive, and never complained. In good times, and in bad, he was still the head of the family. .He will be greatly missed for he was truly a great man. Left to mourn his passing are his son, Manuel Flores, Jr of Independence; daughters, Kelly Flores, Johnny Flores, and Nicole Flores all of Texas, sisters, Edna Angulo, Terry Evans, Sophia Hernandez, Rosemary, Celaya, and brother, Alfonso Flores.
