Alan Lance "Alf� Followwill, 27, of Independence, MO, passed away, Thursday, January 20, 2005 while at work at the Courtney Bend Water Treatment Plant in Independence, MO. Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2005 at the Independence First United Methodist Church. The family will greet friends from noon until service time Monday at the church. Cremation. Alan was born March 18, 1977 in Independence, MO to Charles David and Carole J. (Lents) Followwill. He spent his early life in Bloomfield, Iowa graduating from High School there in 1995. He was a veteran of Desert Storm having served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a pipeman for the City of Independence Water Department for the past 3 � years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, Iowa. He is survived by his parents David and Carole Followwill of Independence, MO; 2 brothers, Aaron Followwill and his wife Lisa of Independence, MO and Erick Followwill and his wife Elaine of Granger, IA; 6 nephews and nieces, Sydney McDonald, David Followwill, Katie Followwill, Samantha McDonald Ean Followwill and Eli Followwill; grandmother Irene Followwill of West Des Moines, Iowa and many aunts and uncles.
