Wayne Folscroft

Wayne Dean Folscroft, 50 of Blue Springs, MO, passed away, Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at the North Kansas City Hospital. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the chapel. Donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America. Wayne was born July 14, 1957 in Independence, MO to Truman and Audrey (Butcher) Folscroft. He has been a lifelong area resident. He had worked as a master custodian for the Blue Springs School District and had also worked for Ace Hardware and the Kansas City Star and had done construction work. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He is survived by; his wife Melissa Folscroft of Nevada, MO; 2 daughters, Krista Folscroft and Kayla Folscroft of Oak Grove, MO; his mother, Audrey Folscroft of Blue Springs, MO; his step mother, Betty Folscroft of Raytown, MO; a sister, Deborah Martin and her husband Keith of Lee’s Summit, MO and 3 step children, Jim, Erika and Chase of Nevada, MO. He was preceded in death by his father, Truman Folscroft in 2005.
