Ruth Joan Ford Newton Washam (Newton)

Ruth Joan Ford Newton Washam, 85, of Independence, MO passed into eternal glory Sunday November 5, 2017 at her home. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Independence, MO. Ruth was born March 10, 1932 in Beatrice, Nebraska. She leaves to mourn her passing sons Steve Washam (Nickie), of Blue Springs, MO, Scott Washam and Stanley Washam (Charlene Ellis) of Independence, MO. She also leaves many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ruth is preceded in death by her husbands John Milton Washam and Robert Ford, and by her son Stuart Washam. Graveside services will by 10am Friday, November 10, 2017 at Mt. Washington Cemetery Truman Rd entrance.
