Nick “Bearcub” Fordham, 15, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018. A service will be held at 3 on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at East Independence Church of Christ 2020 S. 291 Hwy, Independence, MO, 64057. The family will greet guests from 4-7pm after the service.
Nick was born on March 11, 2003 in Overland Park, KS to John Fordham and Sheila (Mahan) Handley. He was a sophomore at Blue Springs High School and loved being in the spotlight. Everyone always wanted to be around him and he loved making people smile. Nick was the class clown. He enjoyed camping, kayaking, and fishing but most of all he loved all of his siblings.
Nick will be remembered by his father John Fordham and wife Nancy of Lee’s Summit, MO; mother Sheila Handley and husband Jan of Blue Springs, MO; grandfather Ben LaQuet of Overland Park, KS; his siblings Patrick Ard (Rita), Dallas Ard, Tyler Bierworth, Brandon Ard, Madalyn Pfannkuch, Cody Fordham, Ryan Pfannkuch, and Sydni Fordham; his girlfriend/best friend of 3 years Lilyian Queen; Uncle Eric Fiedler; Aunts Christianne Nandel and Donna Schroer (Shawn); plus many cousins and other extended family members.
