Jennifer L. “Jenny” Myers Forrest, 40, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013.
Jenny was born February 21, 1973 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Michael R. and Annetta Mae (Purman) Myers. She was a 1991 graduate with honors from William Chrisman and later graduated with honors from Western Missouri Regional Police Academy. Jenny had worked for the Grandview Police Dept. and later the Sugar Creek Police Dept. She also had taught at the Western Missouri Regional Police Academy as an instructor. Jenny was a marathon runner and had been a mascot for the Kansas City Blades.
Survivors include her daughter, Emilie Ann Forrest; mother, Ann Robertson and her husband Bill; brother, Todd Myers and his wife Kristin; nieces, Kendall, Rachel and Molly.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. 64055. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
