Dorothy Foster

Dorothy Foster, 94, of Independence, MO passed away February 4, 2014 at Centerpoint Medical Center. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Saturday, February 8, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Burial at Centerview Cemetery, Centerview, MO. Dorothy was born December 10, 1919 in Jefferson City, MO to Cyrus P. and Minnie E. (Stark) Reed. She was a long-time member of Fairmount United Methodist Church. She enjoyed taking trips to the Lake, fishing and quilting. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Foster; son, Larry Foster; and brother, Earl Reed. She is survived by her four daughters, Linda Sinnett, Elizabeth Megerson and husband Jim, Janet Vornold, DeAnn Bohon and husband Gary; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
