Sherry was born on February 21, 1941, in Independence, MO, to William Lawrence and Juanita Katherine (Hunt) Pixley. She graduated from William Chrisman High School in the class of 1959. She met and married Bruce Casper Frank, and began raising a family. To this union were born four children. Sherry graduated from Penn Valley Community College in December of 1987 from the RN program, and worked for Independence Regional Hospital as well as MCI. Later, she was a home health nurse for Integra until her retirement. She was a very enthusiastic KC Chiefs fan, and loved football in general. She would even go so far as to set up three TVs in her living room so she could watch multiple games at once! She loved traveling with her family, and drove through nearly every state in America. She took every opportunity to visit the nearest beach, where she could dig her toes into the sand. She had a beautiful spirit and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her children: Lynda Miller, Terry Fuller, Jr., Deborah Frank, and Katherine Cook; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat (Bill) Hodges, Sandy (Buddy) Kettner, Brenda (Danny) Gann, and Pam Sparks; and many extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce; and brother, Charles Pixley. Online condolences may be expressed at www.speakschapel.com (Arr: Carson-Speaks 816-252-7900).
