Charles Franklin

Charles H. Franklin, 84 of Independence passed away, Tue. Aug 14, 2007 at Jefferson Health Care Center. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm, Sat. Aug 18, 2007 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th st., Indep. MO. Mr. Franklin was born on Mar. 4, 1923 to Charles and Dona (Becker) Franklin in Charleston, WV. He had worked with the Independence Water Company for over 40 years. Charles was a loving and caring person who enjoyed photography and collecting cameras, with some of them being on display at William Chrisman School. He was of the Christian faith and a member of the Rotary Club. His survivors include, a brother, Thomas Franklin of Saratoga, CA and a sister Virginia Shrader of Oxford, GA.
