Robert F. “Bob” Fray, 97 of Raytown, MO passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at his residence. Due to Covid-19 concerns the family will be having private services and burial in Roanoke Cemetery in Roanoke, MO. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial in his name to Harvester’s International or to the Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church. Bob was born October 9, 1923 in Kansas City, MO to William I. and Edna R. (Reed) Fray and has been a longtime area resident having graduated from Central High School. He also lived in Maryville, MO for 10 years. He had worked for several years for Pfizer Animal Health as a receiving clerk until he retired in 1988. He enjoyed camping and traveling with his wife and had traveled to all 50 states. He also had visited England, Germany, Italy and Greece. He was a member of the Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church, the Ararat Shrine Guides Flag Unit for over 30 years, Raytown Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. Bob also enjoyed scouting and was a scoutmaster for Troop #26 and Troop #37 for a number of years. He is survived by his son, R. Paul Fray and his wife Frankie Rene of Lee’s Summit, MO and a few close longtime friends and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Jean Fray on October 7, 2013.
