Trixie Freeland

Trixie R. Freeland, 82, of Independence, MO, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Rosewood Health Center. There will be memorial visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., followed by a Blessing of the Ashes at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Groves White Oak Community Room; 1515 W. Trixie was born June 5, 1930 in Dundee, NY to Alfred and Beulah (Casey) Serefine. She enjoyed camping, hiking, country music, square dancing, dogs, and NASCAR, but most of all, she loved her family. Trixie’s husband, Charles and daughter Barbara preceded her in death in 1999 and 2011. She is survived by son; Tim Freeland and wife Joy; daughter Eleanor Schultz; daughter Beverly Trattles; son Douglas Freeland and wife Kathy; sister Donna Serefine; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
