Margaret Friedrich

Margaret L. Friedrich, 92, of Independence, MO, passed away December 27, 2014, peacefully at home. She was the daughter of John Milton Cramer and Inez Delilah Stevens, born in Lamine, MO, on August 13, 1922. She worked and retired from Woodcraft Manufacturing in Independence in 1978. She married Milford Friedrich on February 17, 1951, who preceded her in death in July of 2005. She leaves two children, Lois Craighead and Dale of Independence, MO, Gary Korte and Patty of Boonville, MO, four grandchildren, Cheryl Burnam and Dennis of Kansas City, KS, Rick Craighead and Anita of Thousand Oakes, CA, Shawn Korte and Jacquie of Winfield, MO, and Brandy Korte and Charles Perry of Boonville, MO. Eleven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Bill, Charles, Riley, Roy and Harvey Cramer, and three sisters, Faye Kelley, Lorene Sears Parrish, and Ruby Gregory, and one great grandson, Christopher Thomas Korte-Perry. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Independence, MO.
Visitation will be held at the Carson-Speaks Funeral Home, 1501 Lexington
Ave., Independence, MO, from 9-10am on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, followed by services from 10-11am. Burial will follow at 1pm at the Old Lamine Cemetery in Lamine, MO, the same day.
