Donna Frisbey, 67, of Clinton, MO, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away August 20, 2017. Donna was not just a grandmother, mother, wife, sister, and friend. She was a force of nature. She was vibrant and loving, strong and determined. She loved her family fiercely. Her grandchildren were such a bright spot in her life. She was a friend to anyone she would talk to and she would talk to anyone. She loved the Kansas City Chiefs, adored miniature dachshunds, and was an avid quilter. She always made an impact whether big or small. A huge part of Donna’s life with her husband Ken, included being foster parents to over 120 children. She was also the past owner of two licensed daycares. She loved RVing and her fellow RVers became extended family. At sixty-seven, Donna and her husband Ken, had recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. During those fifty years, they had three sons-Shawn, Shane, and James, and one daughter, Heather. Donna was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Dallas, and parents, Merlin and Betty Lobb. She is survived by her husband, Ken; children, Shawn, Shane, James, and Heather; sister, Nancy Galvan; brother, James Lobb; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. A celebration of life will be held for Donna from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at South Crysler Restoration Branch, 16101 E. Salisbury Road, Independence, MO 64050.
