Roy Frock, 87 , June 29, 2022 - Sunset
Roy was born October 15, 1934 in Hale, MO to Bessie H. Foltz-Frock & James LeRoy Frock. He graduated from Brookfield High School in 1952, then attended college. Where soon after he started his family in North Kansas City, MO.
Where he had seven children; Six girls and One son (Terry, Cindi, Kathy, Dona, LeAnne, Jim, and Jeanie).
Roy established his career on the railroad for twenty years. Followed by Wilson, Lake City, and Yellow Frieght, where he retired.
During this time he went on to meet Kathy A. Arroyo in 1986, while working at Lake City Ammunition Plant.
Where they bought their home in Lexington, MO and raised ostriches, cattle, and chickens. Later then, they married on July 4, 1996 and Roy gained two additional daughters Luanne & Annette and another son Anthony.
Roy enjoyed spending his time with his family & friends, and spoiling his grandchildren/great grandchildren.
He also gave his family the insight of outdoor living by teaching the kids how to hunt, which became a tradition fave with the family, along with camping, riding ATV's, and fishing. He also enjoyed family gatherings, farming, country music, and gambling.
Roy is survived by his wife of almost 26 years, Kathy Frock; children, Terry and Gil Crose, Cindi and Richard Tietjens, Kathy Westcott, Dona Wright, Le Anne Wilson, Jim and Jeanette Frock, Jeanie and Michael Burks, Anthony and Maria Arroyo, Annette and David Martin; numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Luanne Arroyo; and parents, James and Bessie Frock.
A Celebration of Life to honor Roy will be held on Tuesday, July 5, at 2:00 p.m., at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street in Independence, MO 64055.
The family would like to extend an invitation to all guests to a reception following the service, held at 4701 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133.
