Della Fuller

Della M. Fuller, of Independence, MO, passed away Sunday, December 30th 2012. A visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6th, 2013 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E 39th Street Independence MO 64055. A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 7th at the chapel. Burial will be at Lobb Cemetery.
Della was born July 26, 1920 in Big Lake of Becker Township, Minnesota to Alfred and Ida (Arneson) Jacobson. She was one of nine children. Della graduated from River Falls High School, WI, in 1938. She graduated from University of Minnesota with an associate degree as a Dental Hygenist. Della practiced in many towns including Chicago and also Washington D.C. On September 8, 1956 she married Jose A. Mora. Together they had two sons. They lived in many countries until 1963 where she established the family home in Forest Heights, MD. Later, she married Walter T. Fuller of 22 years. Della lived in Independence since 2001. She was an advocate for education, encouraging her son’s academic achievements. Della appreciated her heritage and served as Historian for the Sons of Norway. She liked dancing, and loved her family. Della is loved will be greatly missed.
Della is survived by sons, Gregory Mora of Houston TX; Robert Mora of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren, Frank Davis of Alexandra, VA; Stephanie Mora of Rockport, TX; David Mora of El Paso, TX; Katelyn Mora of Corpus Christi, TX; Jaclyn Phillips of Independence, MO; Tony Mora of Independence, MO; Mariah and Garrett Mora of Blue Springs, MO; five great grandchildren; sisters, Arvilla Brown of Bethesda, MD; and Marion Sather of Bennington, NB. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Evelyn Moline, Loretta Zlogar, Dorothy Jacobson and Olga Gaush; and brothers, Clarence Jacobson, and Raymond Jacobson.
