Georgia was born March 2, 1948 as one of four children to Richard and Maxine (Pitz) Harris. She graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School and married her first husband, Gerald E. Ferrin, together having a son. After their separation she began a courtship through love letters with Thomas J. Fulmer while he proudly served in the USMC during Vietnam. They met and shared their engagement in Hawaii. After getting married, they raised two daughters. Georgia worked for a long time as a beloved employee for Cummins Tools. She was a happy, humorous, and classy woman with simple needs. She enjoyed her cats, and good cooking. Although she had a deep appreciation for the peaceful moments spent at her own home, she was a supportive mother who also spent a lot of time enjoying social gatherings with her daughters and their families and her friends. Georgia is loved and will be missed.
